Not worth $40 in my opinion from watching the video. Maybe if it was included in a smh bot then it would be effective but otherwise you'd have to babysit it anyways and most people can sf at the level of this bot easily.

Most people can SF at the level of GM/Leg? I think you are mistaken on that good sir
Also, on the mark of being AFK'able. We never want to advocate on the leaving of bots alone.

You're right, it isn't worth $40. They don't need to make it Ultimate attainable and consistent, but they could have improved it on a few minor things from what I saw in the video. Performance wise, it isn't worth $40, but the fact it's a sword fighting bot makes it exclusive, and of course Forrest doesn't want to break this game any more than it currently it is (oh well).

You're incorrect about people being able to sword fight at that level. I am getting pretty frustrated how all of the coders/staff/community are calling this bot "GM/legendary", because it's actual building technique is shit, and 3/4 people can sword fight like that, it's more of the speed (combined with the right sword) that makes it able to attain GM/legendary.

Which brings me to my next point, if they improved some things this bot could hit Ultimate pretty easy. It doesn't need to build a big opener or anything like that, almost every top tier sword fighter that uses a falchion builds a triple+ and it usually takes within 10-30 seconds. If this bot could just build a litter better using the sprinkles it would win all of the time, combined with the speed of course. Right now it will usually build one solid block and create a double with it, a little, little more building and it would be so much better. It doesn't need to build big openers or donkeys +.

That's my personal opinion, they should make it a bit better and not worry about "ruining" Puzzle Pirates but charge more for the bot of course. It doesn't matter to me I guess since I don't play the game, and Forrest is doing a good job with all of this and it shows that he isn't in it for the money, which is nice to see.

What if it built an unnecessarily large opener that would do great against the bots but will take too long to build against any competent human, that way you could improve performance against AI without harming the game.

Also @ Ezenemy if he "ruins puzzle pirate" no one buys his product, which would be bad for him

Sorry I must have been looking at the video of the free version because the video I saw showed what seemed to be an average sword fighter.

That's not true, a decently powerful sword fighting bot wouldn't actually ruin the game.

If you play properly while playing as fast as possible (as I'm sure the bot does) it would have a good chance of beating essentially everyone, in effect ruining the most popular puzzle of the game

I just tested the paid version with a Scimitar Gold/Black, and it is losing 50% of the time in PvE and 35% of the time in PvP. The bot waste all the breaker, and it is almost sure that you lose the battle if it start with a lot of breaker, the bot just destroy them without any combo or anything. It is probably average in Team Fight, but the bot should be updated to do Double or Triple combo minimum, I would only use it to do boring SF like in pilly as it is right now.

I wouldn't bother with him, judging by his posts around here, he's one of the kids who would enjoy if they added a hack that gave you 50 million poe. He also wouldn't consider it gamebreaking, but a slight advantage.

It's really annoying when people have this mindset. They believe it would be good if they released bots that could instantly achieve #1 in every puzzle. Now, let me explain to these people how it's gamebreaking. If everything was easy to get a quick ult, then many legit players would quit. I for one, will admit I do not use bots. Currently, I have been able to achieve every bottable ult myself. I do get kind of annoyed when I see an obvious bot bragging about "hey look I got ult gunning woohoo". Now, if all the legit people are gone, all you have is bots. I don't see many bots running SMHs, etc. Thus, all the players are gone. Why buy a bot for a game with no players? Maybe now people can see how it's considered gamebreaking to have overpowered bots.
