What do you mean by "student"
There is a project by Microsoft called MSDNAA (Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance) where you can get many more things of them like all their OSs, dev. tools etc. for free. All you need is to sign up in your university for it (normally every university is in the MSDNAA if they have an IT section). Just go to the head office and ask about it.

We had MSDNAA at my highschool because of our IT classes. If you're still in highschool ask around also. You may be surprised (for us though only way to get in was by being a current student in an IT course)
Need to get in Contact with me?

You can always and ever as long as you are signed up at any uni / school being in the MSDNAA. My dad is prof at the uni here and he got it as well without a single problem (even more than normal students I think). Maybe you can see if a teach of you can get this bigger package as well!
