Help, I'm using too much space.

Just wondering.. What's the easiest and most efficient of deleting stuff from C:/ without reformatting and keeping all of the files I need/want.

Empty your Recycling bin (more often than not there is 1GB+ space occupied in there). Delete 'Save Game' files for PC games (if you play any) except for the most recent one (so you can continue where you left off). Uninstall and delete all programs you used once/never use/rarely use including programs that came with the computer.

Retired with no intention of returning. Don't remember me because you won't see me often.

Use CCleaner to clear out temporary files you don't need: CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download
Use SpaceSniffer to find out what files/folders are using the most space on your HDD: SpaceSniffer, find lost disk space the easy way.

Sounds retarded, but, make sure your recycle bin is empty after you delete things.

Also I hope you're not using Vista. :P

2nd hand PC. Make this PC older than what it was when I bought it :P I might need some help with the SpaceSniffer. It's all ready and it has scanned my C:/ drive, but I don't know where to go from there.
