Good bots to make as projects?

(This one is for people who have made bots)

Are there puzzles that require creative solutions for bots? In terms of branching, evaluating positions, etc.

I kind of know python, currently learning C++, kind of learning lisp)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

My guess is that if it's anything like chess the key is to reducing the paths you have to search.

That would require a pretty complicated eval function that I don't think I'm capable of making right now. If I learn C++ well enough one day I'll look at Stockfish's source code and try to figure out what they're doing

If you want it to take a long time to calculate. Any puzzle "can" be brute-forced. The TDrop bot that was "released" publicly was used with a minimax solving algorithm from what I know of it.

i don't know anything about coding but you mentioned bot and project and well since there is two projects for foraging that was never completed and i personally want a foraging bot SOOOO badly thatd be an amazing bot for the community (or me) lol and it should be fun to code maybe idk o.o

After rereading the top of his statement this is COMPLETELY irrelevant and should be ignored or removed if a mod gets here first since i don't know how to delete a post

I'd say the biggest help would be foraging. There's a lot of money in CI, and if you can't forage how can you do it?
