    Is anyone here good with video editing or can recommend a decent (free) software for it?

    Moved to the lounge. I personally use Sony Vegas. It's not free but it's quite nice.

    windows movie maker is fine for your most basic youtube tutorial-type video (free)
    if you want to make something with more substance, go with (both cost money) adobe premiere elements or cyberlink powerdirector

    Like tupov said, WMM is pretty good for your basic needs especially if your new. I always have used Camtasia Studios, which is a 30 day free trial with an email I just re-use each time. Just depends on what your plans are with it really.
