    Looking for Java instructor!

    Well ahoy there,

Let me start with a little about me. I am a programming noob. I have studied a little bit into making Runescape bot scripts via the Tribot program (Have made a powerminer and a powerWC, both with antibans.)

I know very little java but have a good knowledge about the workings of computers (I've studied a little bit into PHP and MySQL although I know that won't help)

Other than that, I'm 21. I have skype and have Eclipse set up.

    What I want from you:

I'm looking for someone with a deep knowledge of java and a good working knowledge of puzzle pirates bots. I would like tutoring in your free time and mine (For free would be fantastic.)

    What I want to make:

From what I've been reading, a bilge bot would be the easiest to make. So that would be a good place to stat would be to help me create a bilge bot but my real aim is to build a gunning bot as it's my least favourite puzzle.

I understand this would be very difficult but perhaps it could be a project we could share?

    - I am a quick learner and when I coded the two RS bots I found it incredibly enjoyable.

Please feel free to PM me/Post here or add me on skype - HappilyExiled

    Thanks for reading!

Here, I will instruct you how to code a bilge bot.

    1. Put the board into an array. (Take a screenshot and grab the RGB values)
    2. Iterate through the array and simulate a move, return a score. Save the move with the highest score
    3. Gg.

If you want someone to spoon feed you're looking in the wrong place.

Break down each step into what you need to do, and google each part you have a problem with. Think logically.

You forgot the step where you break down and cry when someone puts in a support ticket that says they run Vista.

Thank you all for your assumptions. But I was looking for someone who knows about YPP bots specifically, who wouldn't mind expanding on knowledge myself. (I suppose my title was a little misleading, I know learning java is the simplest part of it) But thank you for once again confirming that coding is an elitist art.

Coding isn't an elitist art, but I can promise you that learning coding with a non-specific goal instead of having a specific goal in mind (such as YPP coding) will make you a much better programmer overall.
