    Coder gone astray

Well I might be most known here for fixing bugs on some bots and what not, mostly as coder. In fact I normally also work as audio engineer and lightdesigner. From that I always had a fascination for CAD. Thanks to me still being a student I had the chance to get (in my eyes the best) software to play with.

This is my most time-consuming creation until now and I know it is by far not perfect but I thought I might as well share it and see what you people like / dislike or think I should improve.
The images are rather large (full HD or 4K resolution) so I will just post the links, not to kill your bandwith or quota:

    CAD overview:
    Resolution: 4096x3112
    Rendertime (8x3.4gHz): few seconds
    Special effects: none
    Size: 517KB

    Pre-render front:
    Resolution: 1920x1080
    Rendertime (8x3.4gHz): 6minutes
    Special effects: none
    Size: 1.51MB

    Final render middle:
    Resolution: 4096x3112
    Rendertime (8x3.4gHz): 2hours 30minutes
Special effects: Global Illumination, Ambient Occlusion
    Size: 10.0MB

Well, I could render these stereoscopic but I guess that would not make it look much better. I never have tried that but even have a 3D display... maaaaybe something to try out .

Nice work man, so how does an audio engineer end up having an obsession with doing CAD?

I worked for a TV channel and really liked their animations etc. Then from a Disney Showdesigner I got to that program and thought as it is free for me I might as well use it a bit. And as I always need something to distract me from uni or work, this was like a perfect chance as you nerver are done with your work, always room to improve stuff. You can start & stop whenever you want, you have perfect symmetry, just everything is great!

Also I don't think I quite get your comment, Scooter.
